Stroll down the grand boulevards of Paris, past the elegant Haussmann-style apartments, their iconic blue enamel number signs gleaming in the afternoon light. The air is filled with the sophisticated blend of black tea and bergamot, drifting from open windows and charming cafés. 

Boulevard de la Bougie Parfumée blends the scent of smooth black tea, zesty bergamot, bright neroli, rich cassis, and the je-ne-sais-quoi of oud, evoking the refined charm of Parisian streets with every note.

From Wary Meyers: This has actually been in the works since we started making candles- to have a candle that featured just a blue enamel French number- it’s such a striking graphic. So, included in the box is a French number sticker, either 70 or 74, for you do stick on the other side of the jar. By the way Bougie Parfumée is French for Scented Candle.

Each candle is thoughtfully crafted as both a sensory and visual experience.  Encased in soft-touch ceramic jars with 8oz of hand poured paraffin wax and an approximate burn time of 45 hours, these candles draw on architectural elements and a deep sense of place tied in with scent. Presented in an artistically illustrated box, every detail reflects our playful yet artful approach to design, all made in Wary Meyers’ Maine studio.

“Our candles are made of premium food grade paraffin (the exact same as what you find on chocolate and cheese). The wick is all cotton. Our oils are the highest quality phthalates-free fragrances.”
